Duration

  • 6 months, from July/August 2018 to January/February 2019

Programme

  • Module 1: 5 full-time weeks in Accra, Bishkek, Hanoi, Lima or Ouagadougou - optional
  • Module 2: 4 part-time months at place of work
  • Module 3: 3 full-time weeks in Geneva

Teaching format

  • Lectures, readings, groupworks, case studies, discussions-debates, field and organisations visits, individual work with coaching, different written restitutions, distance teaching and public presentations

Teaching languages

  • Module 1: French (Ouagadougou), English (Accra/Bishkek/Hanoi) or Spanish (Lima)
  • Module 3: French and Spanish (Group 1) / English (Group 2)

Final award

  • Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices from the Graduate Institute (30 ECTS)

  • Required contribution: CHF 3500

  • Module 1: 12 participants per region

  • Module 3: around 36 participants per group

  • Module 1: Accra (7 August to 8 September 2017) - Bishkek (17 July to 18 August 2017) - Hanoi (31 July to 31 August 2017) - Lima (7 August to 8 September 2017) - Ouagadougou (31 July to 1 September 2017) - the dates for the 2018-2019 session have not been defined yet
  • Module 3: January/February 2019 (groups and dates to be defined)
