Duration

  • Executive Certificate: 5 weeks (full-time), in July/August 2019
  • Executive Master: 6 months (part-time), from July/August 2019 to January/February 2020

Programme

  • Module 1: 5 full-time weeks in Accra, Bishkek, Hanoi, Lima or Ouagadougou - optional
  • Module 2: 4 part-time months at your place of work - Executive Master only
  • Module 3: 3 full-time weeks in Geneva - Executive Master only

Teaching format

  • Lectures, readings, groupworks, case studies, discussions-debates, field and organisations visits, individual work with coaching, different written restitutions, distance teaching and public presentations

Teaching languages

  • Module 1: French (Ouagadougou), English (Accra/Bishkek/Hanoi) or Spanish (Lima)
  • Module 3: French and Spanish (Group 1) / English (Group 2)

Degrees awarded

  • Executive Certificate in Development Policies and Practices, from the Graduate Institute (15 ECTS) - possibility to upgrade from a Certificate to a Master within 3 years
  • Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices, from the Graduate Institute (30 ECTS)

Both programmes count towards the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in International Strategy and Adaptive Leadership

Participants

  • Module 1: 12 participants per region
  • Module 2: at your place of work - Executive Master only
  • Module 3: around 36 participants per group - Executive Master only

Dates

  • Module 1*: Accra (6 August to 7 September 2018) - Bishkek (9 July to 10 August) - Hanoi (30 July to 30 August 2018) - Lima (6 August to 7 September 2018) - Ouagadougou (30 July to 31 August 2018)

  • Module 3: January 2020 (Group 1) / February 2020 (Group 2)
